Collected Personal Data

Personal data will be collected in the process of setting our counselling contract pertaining to contact and emergancy contact details.  Name, phone number, email and address and medical contact.  These will be stored under password protection and deleted at the end of our work together.

Purpose of collecting data

Data collection is purely for safety, contact and wellbeing of the clients during the period they attend counselling.

Confidentiality

A contract will be issued when you decide to work with us that will define the boundaries and practice of counselling, this is a living contract that we can add to together or alter if there is a need.

Counselling is a confidential space with a few exception, the main one being the safety of yourself or others.  If at anytime there is safety concern for you or others we would discuss how we make sure you or others stay safe. This might look like including your GP or local mental health team in the conversation to widen your support network and keep you safe.
